Easy Resume is a resume builder for iPhone, iPad and Mac. Fill in each section, pick a template, and export a PDF.
Tell us which device you're using and what you see. A screenshot helps.
Getting started
- Make sure you're signed in to iCloud and iCloud Drive is on for Easy Resume. Easy Resume keeps your resumes there (more below).
- Tap + (Add Resume).
- Fill in each section: Contact Info, Objective, Skills, Experience and Education. Add as many jobs and schools as you need.
- Under Design, pick a Template. New resumes start with Skyline, which is part of Easy Resume Pro, so choose Centurion if you want to export for free. Use Labels to rename any section heading.
- Tap Preview to see the page (on a Mac, it's beside the editor), then Export it as a PDF.
“iCloud Unavailable”, or my resumes aren't syncing
Easy Resume saves your resumes in iCloud Drive, so it can't add or open them without it. If you see “iCloud Unavailable” with the message “Sign in to iCloud and turn on iCloud Drive for Easy Resume.”, or a resume isn't showing up on another device:
- Sign in to iCloud with the same Apple Account on each device.
- Turn on iCloud Drive for Easy Resume. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, then Drive, and check that Easy Resume is on. On a Mac, open System Settings, click your name, then iCloud, then Drive, then Apps Syncing to iCloud Drive.
- Give it a moment. A resume made on another device can take a little while to arrive. If Easy Resume says a resume is still downloading from iCloud, try again shortly.
- Check your iCloud storage. If it's full, new changes can't sync.
Exporting a PDF
Tap Preview (on a Mac, the preview is beside the editor), then Export, and choose where to save the PDF. From there you can attach it to an email or upload it to a job application. The preview redraws whenever you change something, so what you see is what you'll export.
If you see Upgrade instead of Export, your resume is on a Pro template. Choose Centurion under Design › Template to export for free, or subscribe to Easy Resume Pro.
Why does a template say Premium?
Centurion is free. Skyline and Harbor are part of Easy Resume Pro, a monthly or yearly subscription. New resumes start with Skyline. You can pick a Premium template and see your resume in it before you subscribe. When you're on a Premium template without Pro, the preview shows Upgrade instead of Export.
Getting Pro back on a new device
Sign in with the same Apple Account you subscribed with. Choose Skyline or Harbor, tap Preview (on a Mac, the preview is beside the editor), then Upgrade, then Restore Purchase.
Cancelling Pro
Apple manages the subscription. On iPhone or iPad, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions. On a Mac, open the App Store, click your name, then Account Settings, and find Subscriptions. You keep Pro until the end of the period you've paid for. For a refund, go to reportaproblem.apple.com.
Deleting a resume
Touch and hold the resume in the list (on a Mac, Control-click it) and choose Delete. It's removed from iCloud Drive and from your other devices, and it can't be undone, so export a PDF first if you might want it later. The PDF Easy Resume made to show its preview is removed too, as the privacy policy explains.
Privacy
Your resumes stay in your own iCloud Drive and are never sent to us. Read the privacy policy for what Easy Resume does send.
